Our Projects

ReNew KC Neighborhoods will implement community outreach over three phases:

Phase I & COVID-19

Phase I will consist of the renovation of existing blighted homes with occupants that fit our Description of Activities for the 501(3)(c). In light of the serious need, we have set a goal of $250,000 to $500,000+ for this initial fundraising. Ideally, these homes will be located within close proximity of one another and within one of Kansas City’s predominantly impoverished areas.

Note: If volunteers and in-person construction assets are unavailable due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, our organization will work together with other local KC Metro entities to ensure those most vulnerable groups throughout the community are able to access food, medicine, and all other resources and services essential to the protection of the basic needs of the disadvantaged communities across the metro area.

Phase II

Following these initial fundraising efforts, ReNew KC Neighborhoods will heavily market the completed work and launch a second campaign with a goal of raising another $750,000 to $1.5M which will be utilized in the construction of multiple homes and micro-communities for those in need that fit our Description of Activities. These homes/communities will be carefully planned and will feature smart facilities and attributes that appeal to the users – i.e. with smart appliances for disabled veterans, areas easily accessible for the elderly, etc.

Phase III

The ultimate goal for ReNew KC Neighborhoods is to construct medium to large planned residential and multifamily zones for those that fit our Description of Activities. These efforts will be comparable to Phase II, but with a more comprehensive fundraising initiative. Phase III residences will be smart, safe, strategically located, and carefully organized communities that will appeal directly to those neighbors that inhabit them. The development in Phase III will directly contribute to decreasing the overall homeless population in the Kansas City Metro and to the improvement of the standard of living for those suffering from the metro area housing crisis.
